Development History of Heat Pump

Classification of Heat Pumps

According to different heat source type, heat pumps can be divided into: water source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps, dual-source heat pumps (combination of water source heat pumps and air source heat pumps). According to different heating methods, it can be divided into: direct thermal heat pump & cycle heat pump. Direct thermal equipment can directly complement the hot water to the hot water tank. While the circulating heat pumps due to complement the cold water, in order to ensure user requirements, often the solution is to increase the tank volume.

Introduction of Low-temperature Heat Pump

The low temperature heat pump is essentially also a kind of heat pump, it is a kind of low ambient temperature air source heat pump, it is one of the important equipment to promote the development of sustainable heating technology in cold regions. Seen from the vapor compression refrigeration principles, the air source heat pump used in cold regions have four defects: the heating capacity is weakening; heating efficiency is reducing; when the compressor discharge temperature rises, it will cause the heat pump to stop running or reduce the running reliability; the outlet air temperature is low, especially at the defrost time, the outdoor temperature reduces and have serious impact on the comfort of indoor environment. However, compared with the gas furnace and oil furnace, air-source heat pump has a good safety profile and it is easy to install and use, so it is an urgent need to develop the low temperature heat pumps strong heating ability and high operating efficiency.
