Notes for Buying Helical Gear Reducer

Determine the purpose of the reducer purchase

The first step to buy the reducer, we must first determine the purpose of the purchase. For reducer classification, there are cycloid reducer, planetary gear reducer, worm reducer, etc. There is less harmonic gear reducer, the roller cam reducer, toroidal worm reducer, and so on. There are many branches below, and is quite complex to enumerate. And each worm gear speed reducer is not suitable for the same areas. 2. Allowable input flange Cannot be greater than or less than the standard size of Pro-stage gear unit, for example, the standard flange for PLE80 reducer is 80mm, the Pro stage PLE60 and PLE120, PLE80 reducer, the maximum allowed flange should not be less than 60mm, but is also not be more than 120mm.

3. Maximum input speed The maximum input speed of the motor is less than the maximum input speed of reducer.

4. Rated output torque The adaptive motor rated output torque multiplies reducer reduction ratio is the reducer output torque, which should be less than or equal to the rated output torque of the reducer.

We need to know certain reducer parameters, but also understand to inject the right amount of lubricant in the reducer before running, choose the viscosity of the lubricant in accordance with the provisions. Working oil temperature must not exceed 80℃.
