Note and Maintenance for Dehumidifier

Keep the condenser of condenser clean

The condenser should be frequently cleaned and keep it clean. The dehumidifier should be placed in the central location indoor. The draught in and out of dehumidifier may not be blocked by obstructions and the air filter should be cleaned up. When the surrounding temperature is below 15℃, the droplets attached to the surface of the evaporator will freeze, which will weaken the effect of the dehumidifier machine(www.jetexlloyds.com); if the ambient temperature is higher than 40℃ or more, the system pressure will be increased, making the compressor overload, then the overload should cut off the line at this time, otherwise the compressor motor will be damaged. So the best operating temperature range for dehumidifier is 15℃ ~ 40℃. It will not be comfortable if the air humidity is below 30% or too dry, so it can be controlled by humidity controller, maintaining 50% to 60% range.

Place the body of dehumidification flatly

The doors and windows should better be closed when using dehumidifier to achieve dehumidification indoor. The body of dehumidification should be placed flatly, which cannot be tilted or inverted cross, to avoid machine failure or abnormal sound. If the storage capacity of the dehumidifier is too full, in order to avoid overflow pollute and wet the ground, and must remove the body in operation, please unplug the power cord and drain the water in the storage bucket. The dehumidifier should be statically placed for four to six hours in advance if it needs to be moved and then open to use. Because the compressor pipeline of dehumidifier contains refrigerant, the refrigerant must undergo four to six hours to return to the normal position after moving.

Clean the air filter of dehumidification from time to time

The air filter should be cleaned from time to time (about every two weeks) in order to maintain the dehumidification, dust removal efficiency and longevity. Cleaning air filter with water below 40 ℃; it is better to clean with detergent, rinse it with the water after washing off the dust, dry it and loaded back to the machine body. Gently wipe with a damp cloth when cleaning the body; avoid directly splashing water to clean, so as not to damage the electrical insulation. There are adhesive materials on the body surface, which can be cleaned with soapy water. Don't spray it with gasoline, solvents or insecticide to avoid peeling paint or discoloration. Don't draw out the internal machine with thin rods and metal wire to avoid failure or danger. Plug the power cord in order to protect the lifespan of the machine when power outage, unused and you are traveling for long periods.
